A proud beginning with Second Look Flood, LLC
Bryan and Chad founded Second Look Flood, LLC in 2011 to help homeowners understand their flood risk. They noticed inaccuracies in flood determinations done by computer programs and decided to provide manual research with aerial images to ensure accuracy. Second Look Flood empowers homeowners by offering visual evidence and insights into FEMA flood maps, allowing them to challenge unnecessary flood insurance requirements. Their expertise and detailed approach set them apart in the industry, benefiting homeowners and lenders alike.
Second Look Flood, LLC is a proud executive member of the National Flood Association and has a member with ASFPM accreditation (Association of State Floodplain Managers), who oversees all LiDAR LOMA applications with FEMA.
Our LiDAR LOMA service is a proud member of Second Look Flood, LLC and geared toward FEMA flood zone removal, when warranted. Throughout the country, we've observed significant inaccuracies with some FEMA flood maps, leading to a situation where some Elevation Certificate providers have been charging exorbitant fees to address the issue - one property at a time. When you extrapolate this nationwide, with hundreds of LOMA applications being processed every day, it becomes apparent that the system is a bit broken.
